Biography

At the age of 14, I remember picking up my father's 110 camera and snapping away in the back garden for that first photography project at school. A few weeks later I had my first camera, an Olympus OM10 and I have not stopped shooting since.

I have been working as a freelance photographer for the past 9 years. I enjoy photographing people within their own environments whether I'm shooting tenants for a housing association or builders welding on construction sites.

When I haven't got my finger on the button - excuse the pun - I'm either in the cold sea doing a swim for charity or playing water polo for Watford.

Simon Palmer, C. W. Dixey & Sons

“The end product of Paul’s work have been well received by staff and prospective students alike we appreciated Paul’s creative imput to get the most of each and every shoot and felt that he responded well to our briefs within a sometimes very short time frame.”
Sarah Hampton, University of Bedfordshire

“This is the second time Paul has worked on our annual review. He’s become a familiar face around the office! Working with the people Certitude supports, who have learning disabilities or mental health needs, has usually proved great fun as Paul manages to get them to relax and always seems to capture that great shot. With timetables which can change at the last minute Paul has always been very accommodating and flexible.”
Heather Cannon, Certitude

“Paul's work is excellent and we always get the photos that we need. He is also great with our clients, so such that we are confident for him to deal with our clients directly, as a representative of Consort Design.”
Paul Tant, Consort Design
